Sacroiliac ligaments
Q. I have an injury to my sacroiliac ligaments and have had numerous
Prolotherapy treatments without much result. I am getting six Prolotherapy injections per visit but am not satisfied that I am getting enough, what should I do?

A. I know what you are going through. I suffered from severe Sacroiliac Injury and Pubis problems. On top of the back and leg pain, I had groin pain and abdominal area pain.

I couldn't cough or do anything that required abdominal muscle contractions. It was awful. What I did was to receive three really strong Prolotherapy treatments-some 80 shots with a very strong proliferant within a two week period.

I was treated on day one then day 8 then day 15. So in two weeks I was basically healed. To be honest I am 95% there but I have the ironman race coming up so I am deferring one more Prolotherapy visit until after that.

But I went from unable to sit at all to doing ironman training in a two week time frame. Within about 25 days of not being able to
sleep or stand I was cycling 100 miles.

There is no known cure for arthritis. Prolotherapy and nutritional supplements can help alleviate, reverse, or end arthritic pain by treating an underlying cause that contributes to degenerative disease, ligament laxity. Strengthening ligaments and other connective tissue can help prevent bone on bone arthritis from developing.
